I know the hub is the ultimate source for OLP stuff. I just haven't been there in a while.

I'm not 100% aware of CM rules when it comes to file sharing. But are you guys okay with posting rapidshare or megauploa links to files? I feel like sometimes it's a fairly easy way to share certain types of files. Specially smaller ones.

If it is something that has been commercially released for sale, or is a studio recording, I really prefer that if you upload it to a file host, please just post that you uploaded it somewhere and ask that people PM you for the link. I may change my position on that later, but for now if you guys will do it that way I would appreciate it.

We need an official release of this song. Please, please, please. For history's sake! I love it, but I can't use it in any of my OLP playlists because the tap-drawn quality just ruins the flow. I still love this song and its corresponding video!

They need a b-side/demo/outtakes album so bad that it makes me ache.

If the fanbase is the reason that they decided to go on this Clumsy/Spiritual Machines Recreation Tour, we totally need to organize and beg them for an album like this. Something equivalent to Pearl Jam's Lost Dogs, but even better!

They technically never had "b-sides" to their commercially released singles besides live tracks and album tracks. I don't want an album with the power acoustic version of "Clumsy" and 20 versions of "Starseed" on it! A studio outtake collection would be nice, but those are usually unheard of unless you're the Beatles or some other collossal band. Let us pray though.

Do you think if we ask them for it on the tour they'll make it happen to coincide with the release of their new album sometime this year? Ha. I wish.

Yeah, it's kind of lame that we've never got 'true' b-sides from this band. We could get the C-10 version of Is Anbody Home? That would rock, right?

Outtakes, YES PLEASE! I really want the Spiritual Machines outtakes.

You think making a studio version of the b-sides would be easy, I mean its not like they have to reinvent the wheel here, just re-record these older songs and put it on a disc. I' am sure it would sell probably pretty close to what t last two cds have.

Personally, I wouldn't want those songs rerecorded... There's no way Trapeze from 1996 would be the same as Trapeze from 2010. They have to have the songs sitting around somewhere, so I say gather them up, rather than rerecord them.

The big deal might be whether or not they have the rights to the master recordings, or if Sony does.

Well seeing as Sony has no problem with doing anything and everything they can to make a profit off OLP like uneeded Best-Ofs, I'm sure the two could strike a deal.

Given this out-of-the-blue tour of Spiritual Machines and Clumsy (two of the top 3 albums I never imagined they'd ever want to do in full), I'm now fully expecting them to respond to the fans again and put out a greatest hits collection at some point, even if we have to wait until they break up.

Perish the thought!!! But I think you're right about that. We usually don't get a band's back catalog until they've passed into history and their label is looking to squeeze one last drop of profit from their material. If OLP had signed with Geffen in 1993, almost their second choice, we'd probably have rarities and b-sides out the Wazoo!
