Ok so I had a dream or vision of a paper moon video, which I thought was pretty cool. It was very nostalgic, reminded me of 4am.
The majority of the video is shot in Black/greyish style, with no color, except for the orange balloons which make an appearance.
Again this was a dream, so I can't really determine the meaning fully.
Anyways it starts with a man, dressed up in a business suit, sitting in room, with a very empty feeling to it, he is sitting on a bed looking at pictures of a woman, he looks extremely depressed and deflated.
It cuts to him in the back of a car, with his head leaning against the window staring out onto the street. When it reaches the part "solute the players with that famous style" it shows a child holding a bunch of orange balloons, which stands out because everything else is in a greyish color. The child waves and the man in the car hesitantly does the same. Also the car is the exact same as the one in 4am.
When it hits the part "If you know a way out"
It shows the band, and the man in the room he began in, all in which are sitting on the furniture in the room in some respect. With Raine in front left and the rest just slight in back, of course raine is singing this part, kinda reminds me of "hope" how his expressions are. The room again is dark, with paper stars and moon shaped objects hanging from the ceiling. with everyone being surrounded by candles, where the candles are the only objects showing any color.
When it hits the part about traffic jams, ect, it shows the man again in the car, amongst hundreds of non moving vehicles, as it expresses such a lost soul, it was really depressing.
When it kicks into the part again "I was thinking" it goes back to the same part as before with everyone in the room. When it hits the solo the man is seen alone again in the room, throwing things around angerly, then the video begins to morph into flash backs of I guess his childhood, and of the woman in the pictures from the start.
When the solo ends, and it the song is finishing with raine singing, it shows the the man once again in the back of the car, looking out the window, as he passes the child once again, with only 1 balloon left.
Haha anyways thought id share that with you guys, it was pretty lucid and cool at the time.
