I think the easiest thing to do would be to break it down to quarterbeats? You tell me, actually. Keep in mind, you generally have 2 cymbols (yellow and green), 2 snair? (red and blue) and the kick pedal to play with.
And yes, I'm looking for the notes for the vocals. I'm transcribing right now using my tool actually. I actually discovered that it is easier to take an entire phrase into the FFT, rather than one word at a time. This will give you 2-4 peaks that should represent all of the notes in that verse. Then I just have to figure out the correct order which I think can be done by just singing to yourself and hearing where the tone goes up and down.
Again, I'm not a musician, so I'm just winging it.
D'oh.
I just realized I own the guitar tab book for the Clumsy album, and it includes a line for vocals. This should be a big help for you. I'm uploading my scans of it now and will PM you the link.
I seem to recall on older OLP albums (not sure about the new ones), I think all instruments are tuned approximately 1/4 step down which could make it difficult to match Raine's singing to an actual note in the A=440Hz system. You may need to transcribe all of the music either up or down 1/2 step to match the pitch more closely to the recorded version -- or maybe the tabs are already the closest match.
As for the drum tabs, on the easy modes breaking it down to quarterbeats would be the simplest approach, but personally I would start by tabbing out the complete drum parts and then remove beats to derive the simpler versions. I could help -- does it need to be made as a midi file? I don't have any music transcription software for doing that right now. Is that something I could use the tool you're working on to do if you send me a copy of the tool?
