Review:
Amazing. Billy the Kid, you blew me away. I loved your music, and you are so cute and adorable! Wow. Great performance! Raine played the whole CD plus one of the bonus songs from the pre-order (not in CD order, and bonus was Victim of a Small Town and he played innocent) and he put on one hell of a show. He messed some lines up sometimes, but hey, who cares, the intensity more than made up for it. Careful What You Wish For just sent shivers in me - he went nuts in a good way. Chantal was there the whole time and played on piano. The rest of the band was solid, but I don't know their names. The one that stood out was Marc B -- something. Raine spelled it out for someone who wanted the spelling (which annoyed him and he called him a mother fucker - Some people were yelling out stupid stuff all night and he was upset and said "I just wanted a peaceful show") but I couldn't memorize it. There was one guy (in a blue shirt) who was trying to make trouble, and when he said, "I love your wife" and kept going on and on, Raine was like, "I'm a lover, not a fighter, but I know 14 years of ju-jit-su and I'll rip that mother fucking blue shirt off your back." He also made a joke about melting icecaps and polar bears, and we all laughed, but he said, "That's not funny, don't laugh" but Chantal cut him up by letting him know he DID make a joke. "Sorry honey," was his reply. And for encore, which he wasn't expecting, he only played Don't Let it Bring You Down quoting "I played all my stuff."
