Completely agreed. I personally am very excited for the London and Toronto shows. It just seems amazing to me, how there is almost no buzz for the new album. Have they even attempted to release a single to radio channels?

I have used up so much of my excitement energy over the last several years with the prospect of a new album that I feel I have run out of excitement! Or it might just be the winter depression talking. Probably a lot of both.

Maybe with the constant postponing, a lot of fans are just tired. For example, I ordered several items from the US tour through Pledge back in September which was supposed to arrive in Oct with the release of the new music, but it kept getting pushed back and pushed back. It's been 5 months. I want my stuff!!!

Probably not but is that surprising? It's their first full-length in almost 6 years and it comes on the heels of Curve which didn't perform well at all. I just think the reality is that casual fans no longer associate them with new music. Which is sad but that's kind of the way it goes.

Hopefully somethingness will change some minds. I'm really impressed by it, a real great bridge between old and new

It seems that they played A Story About A Girl on the secret Spotify rehearsal...and the video is from Jonathan...pretty strange that no one posted here on the forum...or maybe i missed it!

That reads more like an advertisement than a review. There always seem to be one or two reviews that pop up that suck up to OLP.

It just read as a fan who enjoyed the album, to me.

Not really sure where to post this but Moon is Sun is doing two intimate shows at the Jackson Trigg Winery in Niagara. Tickets just went on sale today for a bunch of cool Canadian concerts including Sam Roberts, Sheepdogs and Broken Social Scene. http://www.greatestatesniagara.com/?met ... 34428BD482

Edge102 in Toronto just played Nice To Meet You. I believe the first time that you have played anything from Somethingness. Always thought it would make for a nice single. We will see

Looks like some tour dates are being added again. They are playing in Rochester, NY on October 4th.

Never been to an OLP show. To be honest, the biggest reason is probably because of their setlists over the last 10 years or so. But this show is just blocks from me, and I've always wanted to check out the venue, so I'll be there!

Looks like 4 shows posted for the east coast.

You should definitely go, Driven. While the set list could use diversity, the band's in a really tight place right now. They sounded better live when I saw them this year than they did 10 years ago, and it's worth seeing them in this sweet spot- better than their worst and still non-geriatric.

I would second that. The two shows I saw this year were both really good. I generally don't like festival shows, but damn they were on point that whole night.

Not sure how many of you caught it, but Raine was on Instagram the other day mixing a live version of Ballad recorded back in March in London. Looks like the live video could actually become a reality.

Yeah I saw the live...such a shame however that the last live official release is from 2003 and they wasted a bunch of stuff like some CM/SM Live Recordings...such a shame...I guess that a song is better than nothing :)
