Anyone know if OLP won some of the rigged and dumb Much Music Awards?

I so had a dream that they were the winners and Nippleback was totally erased from the boards.

I'm a loser.

They just lost people's choice favourite Canadian artist to... the oh so terrible Simple Plan. They need to retire Simple Plan. I hate these rigged awards.

When was Simple Plan ever good?
So...why on earth are they Canadia's favorite band?

"Canadia's favorite band" --> That hurts please take it back! Keep in mind who MuchMusic's target audience is.... that's why Simple Plan rules MuchMusic and has gotten an award 4 years in a row.

Do people even care about the MMVA's? Do people even care about award shows in general? How sad if you do...

i really don't think the peoples choice awards are rigged.

the other ones are, though. it's pretty much for sure that an internation artist/group that's there will win, no matter how much they didn't deserve to win. and there is nooooo way kardinal offishall should have won best video, i not ONCE saw that video on muchmusic, it definately has something to do with him being on the vj search
you have to, you just have to trust me

Absolutely. That was one of the most bland videos of the year. And why was Masarri winning?! How unoriginal.

I think Buck 65 got ripped off.

These are just as rigged, and in a worse way because it costs kids 50 cents to vote for them. During the broadcast you were able to vote right up to the final second. Unless they have a whole whack of people collecting the votes as they were taken from online and text messages there is no way they could have the results tabulated in time to be printed up on one of those stupid albums and put in the hands of the VJ, and have the graphics put up once the winner is announced.

Too much can go wrong with that type of scenario, such as all 4 winners being people who didn't show up to the MMVA's, and delays throughout the process of collecting votes all the way to airing the winner, which would cause horrendous delays in the show.

On top of this, Much would have to pay people to sit there and collect votes. Why would you pay someone to do a behind the scenes job that is virtually unnecessary as no one in the audience or at home would be able to confirm the results?

All of this adds up to there being no reason why they aren't rigged, and I don't know how someone could explain otherwise.

oh ya just to add another thing... Kelly Clarkson's people's choice award was pre-taped even though people were supposedly able to vote up until the last second.
