Not sure. She is doing a limited run with Rural Alberta Advantage, but their tour doesn't conflict with any OLP shows. However, I just saw her twitter profile says "Ex-Sheezer, Our Lady Peace. That's shitty if she won't be back with the band this year.

The guys are hosting another live chat on Facebook today at 6PM. Maybe we'll get a preview of some more new tracks.

Two things for the day:

The next Facebook chat is today at 4pm. They will be discussing the upcoming tour.

Clumsy will be released on vinyl this November. You can read the full details here: http://exclaim.ca/music/article/our_lad ... yl_release

Nice!

srcvinyl does a lot of back-catalogue reissues for 90's bands, so if Clumsy sells well enough I wouldn't be surprised if they reissue more of their records. There's no mention on their site of how limited the pressing is, so maybe it won't be the case for Clumsy, but all the other srcvinyl records that I have were limited pressings, anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand copies, on special colored vinyl. But if there's enough demand to warrant it, they will switch to a different color for another limited pressing.

Not much newsworthy out of the live chat. Still seems very unsettled as far as songs, format, VIP. They did announce that Naved will also be released on vinyl. There was also tease of an EP before the tour. Other than that, the chat reaffirmed that I can't tolerate Edwin or IME. They just seemed like tools on the chat.

I watched some of it, but kept accidentally closing the pop-out window to see other things on Facebook. Did notice this, though. I had no prior opinion of them, never listened to their music or anything, but they seemed completely aloof.

Solid news on the vinyls. Really the only format I purchase music in nowadays.

As for IME, I gave them a shot back when OLP had me checking all things Canadian and most of their stuff didn't do anything for me. Still let One More Astronaut and Raspberry play through when they pop up on shuffle though. OMA is a great road trip song.

Well an EP would be amazing, but for me is the classic OLP's teasing that leads to nothing...the tour starts on 15th October (i don't consider the 25th September because is not part of the OLPxIME) then if they would release something it should be in the next few weeks...at least in the first week of October...what do you think guys?

That's awesome. Jason does a damn good job, and takes his profession very serious. I had dinner with him and trusty last year before the Atlanta show and he was wonderful to talk to. I'm very happy for him, and I think it's a good choice by the band.

I should have trained harder for the marathon. I didn't make it to the finish line in Montreal fast enough to see Our Lady Peace perform. :*(
