paper moon is a very good song. A great song to end the album.

I think it has something to do with the sound of live recordings. I love live records. I love the full sound and the cheering. That stuff has the most force.

Some live recordings are so much more intense then the album version. In the case of Not Afraid, all the raw energy and emotion I thought would come across on the studio version was removed in favour of weak guitars, a xylophone and "pop" production. It was catchy, but the live version just smoked it.

Speaking of which...time to hit the bong.

I like your style

I love live albums. They're so much more powerful, and I find myself actually bursting into a huge grin when songs come up. Every time Naveed/Life comes on, I'm excited. I always beam when I hear OLP burst into Superman's Dead after striking a few mysterious chords, and the crowd errupting.

I put in the OLP Live DVD and ran on the treadmill to it. I'm generally kind of lazy, but I ran, or at least jogged and walked (with some pretty long sprints thrown in) for the whole thing.

I'm curious about "Time Bomb" (Deluxe Version); this is the only song on the album that we haven't been introduced to. I wonder if "Waiting for Something to Happen" became "Time Bomb"?
Well I promised you I would change, but I'm an asshole and I'm ashamed

I think I hate you. :(
-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.
