I think Jack Bauer automatically wins the n00b of the year award. I think if anyone else wins, we'll all be dead.

I vote Matt's wedding for meet up of the year!
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Do you have O'Canada memorized?

Who is Bill Barilko?

How many times have you touched the Stanley Cup?

What's a bonspeil?

When is Canada day? When did it first start? and Why do we celebrate it?

i believe the proper term at this juncture of this argument is "pwned"

either that or a GTFO NOOB!

but for the sake of being a nice guy.. i'll go with "pwned'.

like big time.

Best Avatar - Me; Bill Clinton owns!

Best Fight/Rivalry - I think Johnny and I's "Lame Ass Name Calling Thread" should be considered a rivalry. We were going solid at that quite well!

Best Thread - see above.

Bigest Speling Notzy (Who freaks out the most over bad spelling) - Laurel. OMFG without a shadoe of a dout.

Chic-Fil-A Cow Award (Who has the worst spelling) - Johnny when he's drunk. He's a horrible drunken typist.

Biggest Spammer - Umm Johnny? He became number one poster after all.

CM Hottie of the Year: Female - Cassilicious. I'd marry her for her smile alone.

CM Hottie of the Year: Male - I nominate myself. I'm gonna get a solid photo of myself and blow the lid off this bitch.

Horniest CMer - No contest. Megan.

Most Controversial CMer - I pass this one to Landon. He'll stir the place up whenever its necessary.

Most Friendly CMer - Cass. Not sure I've seen her be mean in here, ever.

Most Influential CMer - Matt. He's running this show.

The Lurker Award (your favorite CMer who's never posted) - I like Stumpy or Evil Crack Baby.

n00b of the Year (I think we actually had a few people this year. Be damned if I know who they are though) - I suppose Oli.

Most Likely to be Banned Next (or again!) - Brian. He'll fuck up at some point and get whacked.

The Kathy Beer Award (Best Drunken Poster) (Renamed in honor of last years winner) - If i actually drink the most beer in here, but don't post in here, do I count? haha. If not, then Johnny.

CMer You'd Most Like to See Return - Every single one that up and left us. They know who they are, and they know they are out there still.

2007 Meetup of the Year - Matt's wedding! I wasn't there, but still a freaking rage i'm sure.

Other meet up nominations ...

Cass and Sooz have tapas in London:
<a href="http://s68.photobucket.com/albums/i22/Soozyj/?action=view&current=DSCF0207.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i22/Soozyj/DSCF0207.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Afe Jen and Sooz wander along Bloor and go to a used CD store and then play on some swings:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/soozy/1490975271/" title="Jen swinging by Soozy, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2282/1490975271_3aa344ad84.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="Jen swinging"></a>

Jim and Sooz somehow fail to meet up at the restaurant they planned to and instead meet at Union Station and hang out there instead:
(no photo as we always forget to take one)

Yannic and Sooz see Matt Good in Montreal. Then they visit him on his bus and take pictures (yes, Sooz is sitting on Matt's lap - he told me to!):
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/soozy/1542392668/" title="On the bus - Montreal by Soozy, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2314/1542392668_8a44718629.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="On the bus - Montreal"></a>

Christine and Robbo and Sooz hang out at Christine's house and go to Canadian Tire. Later Robbo and Sooz and Krista (not a CMer) go out for pizza, and Robbo plays geetar, and then they go to the pub.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/soozy/1545773323/" title="Sooz and Robbo by Soozy, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2388/1545773323_9473c51170.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="Sooz and Robbo"></a>

This is a pre-Matt's wedding photo but it's cute so I'm going to add it in:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/soozy/1547332706/" title="Sooz and Matt by Soozy, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2067/1547332706_a956d4068c.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="Sooz and Matt"></a>

i agree divvy up the awards among the 10 or so people who are on here.

oh yeah and Susie has had Canadian Thanksgiving dinner so i think she is well ahead in the Canadiana race, PLUS she will be here for May two four weekend. you dont get much more canadian. I am hoping to get her camping and out in a canoe. Actually Canaidans know the quintessential activity to prove you are canadian...yes it involves a canoe. ;)
