This thread is dedicated to Rob... What do you guys have to say about him?
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Seduced away from the CC by my cunning charms, he is a crafty and scheming CM deity. And that golden wang is not to be reckoned with.

wang.
Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.

Rob is one hell of a character who I truly admire. (Not in a sexual way. 8-) )
He is one intelligent dude.
He always keeps the laughs coming.
Great on guitar- especially his version of IAH?
He is the wang. Nobody compares to that.

Very cool guy. Fellow guitarist, and might hopefully be kind enough to direct me to some east to learn beginner guitar tabs? :D

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

He's anti-orgy and I hate him. :)
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

Rob seems so...in control somehow. He's able to be funny and political without fitting into any one category. Everything he says any time is worth reading. He's obviously brilliant, but in subtle ways, able to incorporate that into everyday parts of his life. He seems like he'd be a straight-up engaging person to talk to, who would have ideas and opinions on a wide range of topics.

I think Rob and Alex should get married and have little epitamy of CM babies. Could you arrange that please? K thx.

Once again, I agree with Yannic.

Rob is subtle. I think he doesn't like me. But it's all good, cause he can't escape me. No one can.

Axy!

Something tells me Rob didn't really like me when we first crossed paths on the CC. (Sound familiar Matt?) Then after the CM was born... that feeling didn't seem to change much!

I doubt it had anything to do with calling him "Axy" and having him threaten my life if I didn't stop...

Rob's another OLD SCHOOL CMer and just looking at his number of posts proves it. When I close my eyes I like to imagine that Kingston is like a giant prison wasteland with no signs of life around. A place Rob can't escape so he spent a lot of his time on the CM and playing guitar. What the real truth is... I will never know...

What I've learned over the years about the man wielding the Golden Wang is that he's a very intelligent and down to earth guy. He speaks his mind and expresses his beliefs, but in a way where he never becomes controversial. He's never really impolite or offensive which makes him a true gentleman and mature beyond his years!

I actually DID remember his Rorfram picture from his profile on the CC. Which he recently posted I might add. Here it is for all you NOOBS!

Image

So in closing, Rob's a pretty good guy whom I respect, but unfortunately I haven't had the chance to get to know him outside of the CM. He blocked me on MSN! but overall I've found he's really easy to get along with and he's a Simpsons fan! So how could I say something bad about him!?

Rob is like the overseer of everything on the CM. He's opinionated and informed on every topic and really knows when to make people laugh and when to care. Everyone respects him for that and the fact that his post count is intimidating.

He's also really musical. He not only plays one kick-ass guitar, he started Emtee's club and stays well informed on everything olp (...and ime)

Also, the respect I have for Rob for dropping out of Uni because he knew it was too much is unfathomable. It really shows independance and a certain amount of wisdom because not everyone would concider options outside of what is the norm. Having that courage and intelligance is something that I could only strive for.

For that, we salute you.
