Looks aren't important at all to me, personally. What matters is how you get along with the person, how they treat you, and things like that. Looks are just a bonus.

Well, here's how it goes. Initially, I'm attracted to a guy through a combination of his personality and maybe some favourable physical traits. If it goes farther, I mean when you really know you like someone, then they might not have the physical appearance that you usually go for but there comes a point where you find everything about them attractive because you are attracted to them as a whole, and if anything about them was different, then they just wouldn't be the same person. Was that too confusing? I dunno.

This guy kept after me for about 3 months to go out on a date with him, personality wise he was the greatest person and made me laugh, looks wise, there was just NO connection and no attraction whatsoever, so finally I let the personality win and I agreed to go out with him .. we went out for about 9 months .. and it just didn't work .. we didn't have that physical connection, or at least I didn't. I want to be able to look at the person and just melt, and feel butterflies in my stomach when they smile at me .. so looks aren't the most important thing, but they DO matter, anyone who says they don't matter at all, is lying
There just has to be that spark physically .. you have to connect on both levels
