What To Do When Angry?

Postby don't ask why » 2/6/2003, 10:52 pm

Anger management is the topic here. What do you do when you're angry?

If I'm in a car, I'll burn some rubber and floor it. If I have something in my hand, I'll throw it. As a last resort, I'll yell profanities really loudly and punch soft things. Anyone have a better way to dissipate the anger? Please let me know.

I broke both of my remote controls cuz I threw them across the room when I was angry .. dammit .. I have rage issues. Depending on how angry/frustrated I am I either end up sobbing or throwing something

sometimes you just gotta let all the frustrations out...
sometimes you buy a $20 lab coat; use it once, and then forget to bring it home....grrr...

When I'm mad: I don't take it out on anyone, or anything.

The one exception is the person or thing that is casuing me anger, and I keep it to persuasive verbal-ness.

Settle down eh? Once I got so mad, I pulverized my contoller till it was in itty bitty peices. It got its revenge though, as I left my room, I tripped on the cord and fell onto the corner of my desk....which impacted on my twig and berries. Owwww :crying:

you could try beating off
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

You come here, everyone here loves you.

Alright, that doesn't happen very often. That's the end of me.

I used to just take a deep breathe and count from 10 to 1, until this suggestion has been suggested a million times by various conceited Matt Good fans who think they're as witty as the man himself, this suggestion is now offensive to me.
Al's emails put a smile on my face, even though all they say is "You've got a private message!"
