Computers ([not] Angry Face), (Happy Face)

Postby Axtech » 1/24/2003, 6:49 pm

Damnit. I really hate computers.

I just bought Sim City 4. I have the requirements.

I installed the game and then clicked on the icon. CD started spinning, little "waiting" curser came up. Then it stopped. Nothing.

What. The. Fuck?

Oh, and I should mention that I called Wal-Mart (where I got it) and they "don't take back open merchandise, sorry".

What. The. Fuck?

I haven't bought a computer game in about a year. THIS is why.

The problem could be that the dumbass who makes my computers keeps using SIS video cards, which are VERY incompatable with everything...

And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

I called our "Computer Guy" and he said "Yeah, I figured this would happen at some point. I knew you'd want a new one when I gave you yours. So I figured I'd just buy yours back when you wanted a new one."

My question is... "WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU GIVE ME THE GOOD ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE, ASSHOLE!?!?"

So, now I have to wait for a new one. He's going to order it on monday, and should get it by tuesday. If I don't hear from him by wednesday, I'm supposed to call him and remind him. :freak:

If you have an SIS video card, you might as well use it as a sharp-edged tool to kill whoever sold it to you.

or stop wasting your life away on a computer, nerd.
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

Susan comes up big when needed
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
