So my yearly review from my team lead/manager-ish type figure, which was written within the last week, gave me the highest possible rating in the area of communication, and specifically called out use of email.

However today the manager from our client company who we work for pulled me aside and told me that I need to be more tactful in my email. Interesting.

Clinical psychologist--work with mainly teenagers and families with teenagers.

Hence why I read so deeply into everything OLP! ;)
