In all seriousness, though, you are right. That should have been chunked as well. The term cracker, has never been deemed as offensive as some of the stuff Clint dished out in Gran Torino (slurs I'd never even heard), or at least not in this neck of the woods. I live in the whitest whitey white area of Tennessee, and that word has never made the record scratch anywhere I've been. Does it make it more or less acceptable to use? No.

Do you even know the origin of the word cracker? It insinuates when used that all white people were or are slave owners/slave drivers, so yes it is pretty much as racist, the only difference being that racism towards the black population seems more harsh because they're a minority and were put through things such as slavery in the past.

If Johnny is going to get out and make a commitment to go out and defend the public and treat them all with fairness and respect and uphold laws, I would hope he could look back at posts like that and understand that it's not in his best interest, serious or not. Same applies to Neil, also in criminal justice. In regards to name calling, I've told one member that she need not do that out in the public forum, that if personal battles had to be done, private was the way to go. I wasn't talking about letting you down, I was talking about everyone.

Like it or not, you are leading people because of your decision making with what you're censoring, moving or deleting. You can try to use it as a cop out, but it's not going to change the fact that you choose to let some things go which are the exact same as a separate instance or occurrence. It just appears that it's dependent on WHO, which member has said things or who things have been said to in some cases. Which isn't right. Not always though, as both racism instances I'm talking about were between Neil And Johnny.

I do respect that you apologized, assuming that it wasn't sarcastic and that's fine and warranted, but it's not respectable to try to shrug off responsibility or claim that you're not leading anyone.
