Serious discussion area.
You realize that sometimes you're not okay, you level off, you level off, you level off...

i don't know if the cold turkey thing is all that smart though. you're more prone to go back if you just decide to stop. maybe you should consult a doctor? but yeah, definately stop...and watch a movie called Thank You For Smoking :)

The only thing that still freaks me..........is how you hear of people (such as Peter Jennings, for example) who get like lung cancer, throat cancer, etc. and its because they had smoked like twenty or more years before they got the illness.

I'm sooo nervous that I'll have that luck....

Even though I've only been smoking for about three years now.

A friend advised me to make sure I do not have any smokes currently in my possession, or within reach, when I try and quit..............otherwise I'll just want 'um cuz I have them.

Does that make sense? If so......I have half a pack to smoke, that'll be gone by the time I wake up tomorrow.

So....looks like I might be starting to TRY, tomorrow.

I'm gonna try coldturkey though, first. Any recommendations on how to try and keep my mind off? I'm thinkin I'm gonna keep gum on me. My g/f's father smoked 2 packs a day, and he quit by always having gum on him. He said after every meal he immediately threw gum in his mouth, and whenever he got pissed off, or got the urge to smoke, he would chew gum.

I have a friend currently taking Wellbutrin XL to try and kick the habit..........but I don't think the dumbfuck is taking it right. He still smokes an assload.

I try to believe I don't need medication to freakin quit.....but who knows.
