I don't understand how the logic escapes people that if employers must pay min. wage to everyone, legal citizen or not, then the demand and motivation for illegal workers would disappear. Christ!

Also doesn't Si se puede mean something more like "yes it is possible?"

Well, this kind of shows you how pathetic Americans are, doesn't it?

We have a president in office that has effectively not only ruined the lives of everyone for the past six years, but fucked everything up so badly that we're going to need another eight years to clean up the mess, but we can't form a respectible rally of more than a couple thousand people, and it usually ends in violence.

Fuck it, if those people can organize and are so damn passionate about it, let them live here. In the long run, it won't hurt America anyway.

hahahha jesus do you guys only read the posts that you think you might be offended by?

did you see the one that i made DIRECTLY above it stating how i ATTENDED a pro-immigration rally while in LA last weekend?

do you ever read any of my posts wherein i state clearly and explicitly that i am FOR the end of ALL government, by any means neccessary? now correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't it the GOVERNMENT that passes the anti-immigration laws etc? haven't i stated in the past that i believe that ALL human beings have the natural RIGHT to move freely and live where they please?

lando has made it CLEAR in the past that he gets my sense of humour. i'd appreciate it if i could at least joke around with HIM without you guys jumping the fuck all over me. do you think you can handle this?

Actually, I mostly agree with this statement. Mostly.

I wouldn't be so quick brush all Americans with the same blame, especially since half the country didn't vote for said president. I don't necessarily think its pathetic, either, moreso just ignorance which in alot of cases cannot be helped.

I'd be more careful not to generalize... but I agree with the idea of his statements.

What's the big deal if I said "Americans" instead of "people" anyway?

I am from Michigan, and last time I checked, it's still in America, so I feel comfortable saying what I did.

See, I say Americans in this situation, we need the American people to congregate and do something about what is happening to our land. I know Bush essentially is screwing the entire world right now, but he resides on American soil, therefore, we need to do something. It is our responsibility to stand up to what is happening, so that is why I said Americans. Anyways, do you honestly think anyone in power right now would give a flying fuck if a group of people protested his presidency in England or Canada? It would get minor attention on the 6pm news, but would be forgotten and ignored, not because it doesn't matter, but because it's not in America and outside protests are generally ignored.

By the way, Henrietta, who is the pathetic one in this situation? The one voicing an opinion at 8am, or the one calling someone pathetic on an OLP message board? It's text, it's not important.
