okay, so i learned today that on a red light, you're suppose to stand about a car space back from the white line, incase someone hits you from behind...you don't wanna go in the middle of the intersection. that's insane! so um, do that.
im pretty sure they said you'll fail if you run over a curb...like when you're parallel parking. IT COULD HAVE BEEN A PERSON!
if the limit's 50, go 47, 48 - don't speed ever ever ever.
don't stress over it or you'll crash.
oooohh, and i was told that you should wear a hat so that when you check your mirrors it's more noticeable.
never argue with the instructor or try to look over at what they're writing.
ummm...if you're parking on a hill, don't forget to turn the wheels in the proper direction.
*gets out drivers ed notes*
stop for 3 seconds at stop signs..and don't stop too long - someone failed for doing that. just don't overdo it too much.
watch out for one way streets. stupid, stupid downtown oakville. *terrified*
keep your eyes moving all the time..don't stare.
keep your 2 second distance..and give the car length distance when stopped behind a vehicle.
when going around a parked car, maintain at least a one metre distance on the side
on the highway..make sure not to speed...but make sure to go with the speed of traffic when entering...they can't take marks if you speed when doing this, cause it's unsafe if you go too slow.
watch for pedestrians..
um, if you're turning left and the light is green, move up one third of the way, but make sure your wheels are straight.
if you see an emergency vehicle, keep calm..just pull over.
that's all i can think of!
most of that is common sense..or stuff you should know, but it's always good to remind yourself of this stuff! good luck!
i'm starting my in car lessons soon..ill go for my g2 in about 2 weeks or so. yay!
