Yay Smooke. Well done :duncan:

Where's my Christmas card???
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

well all...

I started my background investigation with the Toronto Police!!

All's I have to do is pass that step and then my psychological interview with a psychologist and then I'm basically in :D

I'm STOKED ....BGI's usually take 3-6 weeks and involve criminal records checks. driving record checks, reference checks, employment checks and credit history checks...lol ...a lot of checks!!

If I pass that and my psychological I could get an offer of employment and I would start constable training April 18th!!! and Toronto Police are sending 166 recruits to training!! O:

Just thought I'd post my progress :)

Just make sure you don't shout out "Smooke loves Raine" in the middle and you might be ok.

I was so going to say that.

I can just see him failing the rorschach test (:heythere:): "And what does this look like to you?" "RAAAAAAAAAIIINE!!!"

Luckily they'll just think you're obsessed with weather patterns.

haha!

Hey Saman!!

It went very well I think. It was very unpredictable. Psych interviews are a bit weird. No wonder it's the last step in the process

But I won't know how I did for a while, I think.

The only thing that my background officer is worried about is my age, 24, and how young I look. The psychologist might not pass me because I look young. But I protrayed to the psychologist that I was very mature.

If I'm not in next week's pre-training class, I'll be in August's class (when I'm 25) my BGI told me.

So I'm guessing the psychologist hasn't seen your posts on here, then? :P

Lets email them over

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

Too young? You look a LOT older than lots of policemen around here.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
