I don't understand the big deal about homosexuality anyway. So what, someone chooses to be with the same sex, rather than the opposite sex. It's none of your concern. If that person chooses to be homosexual (or was born homosexual if you believe it to be that way), then so be it, no one is forcing you to be with the person, so just accept that person the way he or she is. If you grow up and get past the fact that they don't have the same sexual orientations as you, you'll find they're just like you and can be really good people.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

It's just the fact that so many people are so ignorant these days. My brother didn't choose to be homosexual, I don't really think anyone chooses. If he could, he'd probably want to like females instead because it's so much easier and so much more accepted than liking guys.

1. Yes, the Bible does condemn homosexual acts:
1 Corinthians 6: 9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders.
2. The Bible is not about tolerance. The Bible is about compassion. Parents usually don't "tolerate" bad behavior. They try and correct it, and punish when necessary. They are compassionate towards the child committing the bad behavior, though.
In a similar way, God isn't tolerant towards sin. Hence the eternal fire and damnation for those who die in their sin. He is, however, compassionate towards those who sin, hence the whole "Jesus dying on the cross" thing.
3. I don't "believe" that sexual orientation is a choice, and neither does any reputable scientist. Genetics does influence orientation. The current notion is that only for borderline cases does nurture affect orientation at all.
4. I don't see how "choose me or burn in hell for all of time" is any different than "follow my laws or get arrested." If anything, I'd actually say the first one is much much worse, what with the eternal consequences.

it's still a choice. eat or die isn't much of a choice either, but it's a choice none the less.
