i think a lot of times when guys are really good looking it can work against them. personally, i feel intimidated if a guy is extremely attractive, and that's not a good feeling to have about someone when you're looking for a relationship.
yes, being moderately nice to look at is a plus, or good-looking in a non-conventional sort of way, but i think more has to do with the way you actually interact with the individual. some guys i know i would never date because i feel too much like a mommy to them. with others it wouldn't work because i know i'd be the needy one.

why restrict yourself to a certain type of guy? surprises come where you'd least expect them.
