I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

You know what? The majority of people on this board have problems and have bad days, but will never tell anyone else what their bad day was really about. I, myself, was raped as a child and am, therefore, taking my dad and brothers to court to get them in jail. My mother does not believe me and therefore I have no family. Will I say, "I had a bad day because I didn't get to talk to my boyfriend?" YES. There's always a story behind why something makes someone feel bad, so leave them complain about whatever they want because you have the oppurtunity to do so yourself.

I think the point is that different people see things in a different light. Someone could be in a depressed mood that makes them feel horrible about something small, regardless of how their problems scale up against those of the rest of the world. Telling someone that the thing that's bothering them is just minute doesn't help. It's human to feel depressed at times, and telling someone that they're depressed for nothing can make them feel even more depressed.
Can you honestly tell me that you've never felt down before? It's a healthy human condition to have bad days. Without having days that we feel bad about, we can't have good days. There would be nothing to compare to to make us say "I'm happy, this is a good day" if we've never had bad days.
