thanks!
I'm trying to go for a more painting-like look. It looks more natural. I'll post a few more I've been working on later on today.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I don't know how I feel about this one. I couldn't get the layering the way I wanted, and rather than scrap it I figured I'd post it to get some feedback as to what could be improved.

The sky definately looks cool.

I think, however, that the texturing used for the sky would go better in a different image. It just doesn't feel right with the rest of the image.

Very cool stuff, though.

ya thats what I was thinking as well Rob. I wanted more of a dreamy look but I gave it too many layers so I got kind of stuck. (there's only 8 layers but still) thanks though!

here's a fun one... I've been watching a lot of Happy Days lately.... oh and I felt it deserved a thread of it's own, so thats why it's in the other section as well. I mean it is the Fonz...

The background sunset was done by hand not with the gradient tool. It takes a lot longer but it looks a lot better.
I hadn't done anything with my photoshop in months. Looking back on some of the older stuff I dunno if I like it really. It's like one of those things that seem good at the time but looking back on it you have second thoughts.
