My parents have millions of those houses that they paint. They rarely use the colour schemes provided, though. My dad also paints the santa clauses they sell - he has so many, and he gives lots as gifts at christmas.

nice work, though. i rarely have the patience to get through them

so some folks may remember this project that i had started a while back:

saman wrote:side 1 of 5 finished!!

to explain again, it's a bangle stand. i had too many bangles so i built a stand for them from scratch. well, i would like to announce that after 2 and a half years of starting it, i am finally finished!

the dragon on both sides is identical. i wanted to do a phoenix or something on the insides, but then i got lazy and didn't.

also, i posted a earlier picture of this in another thread, but i scanned it since then. this was included in the cm anniversary artbook that was given to the band in march. i had originally planned to do this drawing completely in photoshop, and i had almost completed a digital version, but then my computer crashed and i lost the file. unfortunately there wasn't enough time to do another one, so i did the outline hastily in photoshop and then coloured the rest of the picture in using pencil crayons, mostly on the plane heading to toronto lol.
