How to hay

Postby Henrietta » 8/10/2003, 1:56 am

This could go in the random thread...but oh well

Ok...FIRST, you CUT they hay with this! That is my dad, and that mark on the shed is our brand

Image

Then you wheel rake the swaths to make winrow, that is me

Image

Then you push the winrows into piles with the push rake, that is my brother Chase

Image

Then you stack it with the farmhand...that is my Grandpa

Image

And last, but not least, you scatter rake it, so as not tl deprive the damn cows of a bit of hay. That is my cousin Tana

Image

Well, now you know how to stack hay, do you feel better now??

BTW-most people bail it, but this way is better so there is less wasted hay.

Joey, I actually like your name, even though I thought you were a guy for too long. I'll have to tell my bro he has a name fan. I was giong to be Chase...then I was born a girl.

Cass = Farm chic =

Now now...it's not a farm, it's a ranch!!!

Rob...all summer!? I don't think so, try three weeks! Yeah well, who stood me up last night, eh?? Sheesh.
