bout fuckin' time
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

You and your girlfriend make one sexy ass couple. I commend you.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I always make loud, obnoxious, exaggerated coughing noises when someone lights up for some odd reason.

My friend likes to yell..*What's that smell?? Why it's my premature death!* Then he starts coughing and hacking..it's quite amusing actually, because all the smokers walk away and give us funny looks.

why's that odd? Smoking isn't allowed on any bus, let alone school buses, right?

it's pretty sad. By the time he gets old enough to realize that smoking is a bad idea, he'll probably have been smoking for four or five years.

Make a bad mistake and start up later in life, and you're likely to realize it sooner, thus having an easier time of quitting.
