aaaaaaron, the drumming's not bad.
i think it doesn't mesh with the guitar all that smashingly,
or it's just so loud that it makes every small timing error a lot more noticeable.

to be honest i like both the drumming and guitar, but they need to compliment each other a little bit better.

and add some vocals.

probably so. we just ran through and recorded all of our songs again yesterday. i know that these songs aren't perfect. they're demos. it's just that we don't have the time to go back and do every track until it is perfect. if something doesn't sound right to you, more than likely i fucked up and we just decided to live with it and move on. of course, if we were to pay and record all this in a studio, the timing would be dead on. these are basement recordings.

and i'm starting to take lessons again so that i don't suck quite so much. and i would bet these songs would sound better with bass. if we only had a bass player.

better tunes to come i'm sure.

and if you think this stuff is boring, you have problems.

new!
we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.

I must have problems...
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
