His name known by the world
But is this infamy that catches the ear
The whispers in the dark
That will not decide to fade away this year?
His cries left at the side
Dancing with the grinning knives left in his back
Shame that he did not know
Everyone will break you down for what you lack.

No one thought he knew
That these knives live outside of his dream
So the question is
Will you listen to infamy scream?

His constant questioning
Of there being a helping hand at his call
Or will there only be
Thousands of blades to cushion this young boy's fall?
His guts put out for show
Along with the smirk he forces on his face
Solely to get away
So he can finally enter in life's race

No one thought he knew
That these knives live outside of his dream
So the question is
Will you listen to infamy scream?

His struggle to find out
The meaning of life and why the sky must rain
Amounted to nothing
For those who chose to cause this boy so much pain
So the question is
Will you listen to infamy scream
Or will you simply trust
That these knives only live in your dream?
