This brings back a funny story.

Last summer my mom was going to a family reunion in North Carolina. I stayed home because I had a really important horse show. She was gone for like 10 days or so. That Tuesday I went to Hampton Beach with someone she had never met before (Alyssa) and stayed overnight in a hotel. That Friday I went down to MA to stay with another person she had never met, and I had only met once. We went to the Hartford show Friday, I stayed there Saturday and went to the Rhode Island show on Sunday. Monday, I took a bus home from Worcester. So.......while my mom was 15 hours or so away she let me travel around the northeast with and meeting strangers to see a rock band.

Wow. She loves OLP because I love OLP. I wanted to go to a different band's show in my state on a weekend and she wouldn't let me.......yet she lets me do that ^ as well as travel by plane to Ohio and such to see OLP. Hehehhehehe............I love that:) She knows how important they are to me, and knows I wouldn't be quite as sane without them, and since I do NOTHING wrong she lets me go. My parents are great in some respects.

Sure.........we even have an extra bedroom since my bro left :)

Of course, to get her to let you do things you have to be a perfect child. And do tons of chores, and take care of all the animals, and do well in school.

And resist the urge to ever have parites even though she leaves you alone for many days on end all the time with the house.
And NEVER listen to KoRn or Slipknot in front of her. And basically give up on seeing most other bands.

But once you get past that its cool. She doesn't even give me a curfew or anything. And just the OLP part is so worth it

Slipknot sucks, they are like 26 guys who wear masks because they know if they didnt then anyone who ever saw them around would stop and go out of their way to kick the shit out of them

Thats harsh.

Corey Taylor has a solo career with no mask. No one beats him up. I bet he could kick anyone's ass, so anyone who tries is pretty damn stupid

I've never heard a song by Slipknot that didn't absolutely suck, other than Wait and Bleed. And I pretty much just liked the chorus on that song.

The best thing about Slipknot is the way the Muse-drummer makes fun of them in their DVD. He's describing how they're wearing masks (and so is he) 'all fucking nine of them as they come on the stage, in front of me, Glenn and Jeff. Then they start yelling at the audience: Get away from the fucking stage. Sit the fuck down!" It's hilarious, you should see it.
