OLP Rochester show

Postby Sufjan Stevens » 8/13/2002, 4:33 pm

Absolutely amazing. That's all I can say. Raine flew, the band was interacting with me throughout the entire show, Jeremy handed me a drumstick, the Birdman dance was done, Neon Crossing amazing, greatest show ever. My review should be on www.ourladypeace.cc soon, if you want a real, entire review of my night.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Then my "I came from Detroit Play Blister" sign would be useless.

But I want Blister...and the Birdman dance on tape so I can learn how to do it and impress all my friends.

there are two guys that I met at the toledo concert that have this old beat up "Detroit Loves You" poster that they take to every single OLP concert. They've had it for like 4 yrs. Their names are Luke and Jeff. 89x has a pic of them with the poster up on their web site.

I had that on my sign, and it was taken away...

Anyone have any idea when the Detroit concert will be or if there will actually be one?? AHH! I'm excited already. I will most likely be in attendance with my two friends who are almost as freakish about OLP as I am. One of them is registered here because I told her too  , but I don't think she's posted anything ...

I put the signs on stage for the band and they were taken away and the one guard said "if you put one more sign on stage you're gone" and I flipped him off......dammit
