I'm sleepy!

The band was onstage just under 50 minutes -- only new material was The Wolf, but the band was energetic and the show was way better than their last in LA. No complaints here.

Plus, there was a big fan next to us in the crowd who yelled out for the band to play Thief, so I joined and a few others after me. So the setlist was:

Monkey Brains
Escape Artist
Superman's Dead
Angels/Losing/Sleep
Innocent (slick lyric change -- "Lennon and Coltrane")
Paper Moon (extended yay! due to injury caused by stagediving boo!)
The Wolf
Clumsy
Thief (by request, instead of 4am)
Starseed

In Techumseh Duncan said they were saving the rest of the new stuff because they didn't want full songs to be recorded and spread all over you tube and get played out before the album was finished.

We asked because Raine did keep going on and on about If This is It and I was hoping we'd get to hear it. I don't remember him saying anything about other new songs though. Where did you see that?

Rough sound in that clip, but close shot. Maybe another one will turn up somewhere? Maybe one of The Wolf will turn up too? Who knows. 8-)

The sleeveless shirt reminds me of Raine's rocker image of old.
