That's right, our own Jonny Hoopz sang with Raine. It was a damn good show. I couldn't believe that many people were there. Yes, Wolf was the only new song. But the setlist was shaken up in terms of order, added in Thief, and an interesting version of All You Did Was Save My Life/Life.

Monkey Brains
Naveed
Superman's Dead
Angels/Losing/Sleep
Escape Artist
Paper Moon
Is Anybody Home?
Thief (Dedicated to Jack Layton)
The Wolf
Clumsy
One Man Army
Somewhere Out There
All You Did Was Save My Life/Life
Innocent
-Encore-
4 A.M.
In Repair
MLK/Starseed

Thanks to DudeLove721 for helping with the setlist!

Wow, I can't believe they finally played Thief! Is this the first time since 2006? Anyway, I loved this performance... I think it was the perfect blend of the original recording and the 2006 version from the A Decade DVD.

Here's my Thief Video

http://youtu.be/2pJ524t0TmU

It wasn't soundchecked and he didn't even have a lyric sheet. It was incredible!
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

MLK is the same song by U2. OLP only does an extremely brief interlude from the song before going into Starseed. They did that version quite a bit near the end of the 2003 tour.

Can someone tell me how I can crop the first 5 or so seconds out of that video so you can't hear my filthy mouth? The girl next to me shoved her way in and the girl on the other side of her made a comment to her so she bitched at her and pushed my way so I said something to her. As soon as she saw that I was recording, she shoved me on purpose to try to mess up my video.

Thanks for the shout out on the main page, Matt!

It was the most incredible moment and I am forever grateful to the band for letting Nathan and I sing along.

It was good to be around so many friends and family to see OLP in my hometown. :)

We can probably just make another audio track for you, and use the audio swap feature on YouTube. If other audio exists

You're welcome. I was back at the soundboard and heard someone other than Raine singing, I knew it had to be you and I just kind of laughed to myself, because I remembered what he said when you asked him if you could sing for him or with him. Very cool moment.

I take it some of you guys talked to the band before the show? Is that how Long Johnny got a go at it?

I didn't even notice Bree cussing when I listened, so I think you're safe, unless someone is listening for it specifically.

About Thief. It really feels good to hear that song live again. No matter what, that song is always a staple for OLP shows, IMO. I've missed it. Such a powerful and emotional song. It makes me feel like OLP is in a great place.

I really dig them bringing in one or two different songs at seperate shows, it makes the shows different for the hard core listeners who follow the band around to a few different shows.

I'm with Codes on The Wolf. It needs the scream.

We were all at soundcheck, anybody could just walk right up. After it was over, Jonny asked Raine if he could sing for him or with him during the concert. Raine smiled and said something like "You never know how things work out."
