VIP question

Postby fnm4evr » 2/6/2010, 12:16 pm

I just bought a pair of VIP tickets for the Buffalo Clumsy show. I was just curious when I would find out where I'm sitting. Also, do they send the tickets or do I pick them up at the venue. If anyone can answer these questions, I would appreciate it! Thanks!

I'm fairly certain you pick them up at the box office the day of the show. You may want to call the venue and confirm.

This is actually a really good question...

This was at the bottom of my VIP email for Massey Hall:

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED TICKETS ARE NOT SHIPPED - you must bring photo id and the order/receipt number to the show, or when applicable print your tickets.

However, on the Ourladypeace.net it says this:

Your tickets and Meet and Greet instructions will be mailed in 2010 no later than four weeks prior to the date of the show.

So i guess only time will tell....

Are you happy now :P which side you on? I am on the aisle too. In Balcony. Secnod Row. It is all goodfor me. I am center between Raine and Duncan( Clumsy Night). SM night on floor in 11th row I think.

Oh NO MIke. The OLP bootleg Police knows where you are sitting.. NOw you better make sure it is a good recording..

seriously though if security is for OLP like it wss for Chantal( last Dec). They will come to you and tell you to stop recording and stand there till you stop..

Shit, I actually meant seat 19, not 29. Sorry for the mistype

Hoping Massey isn't strict.....I have never in my life been told to put my camera away at a concert, maybe im just lucky but my understanding has always been - if its not a DSLR camera or an obvious (bulky) video recorder, its not an issue. Hell, Trent Reznor actually was promoting people to bring DSLRs or any type of recording device for that matter to his farewell tour last year.

Dont know if there are any other Floyd fans on here but I remember I was front row center for a Roger Waters concert(DSOTM Tour) and I was actually asked by the security guy watching me record if I could email him my pictures/videos that I took, That was without a doubt the best concert i've ever been to in my life.

what is weird to me is years ago I was at a show.. I think it was 930 club(DC) and security goes BNAD MANAGEMENT says no photos. Here is why it was weird. I gave the band a whole book of photos I took of them and they were happy about it. This was ther Gravity tour.Even the manager at teh time liked thephots. I found that to be really odd. Since then 930 has changed policy. I awlays find it odd when they say BAND MANAGEMENT.. MOre like Venue Management. From my experience most bands have no problems with fans taking pictures or even recording some shows. As long as it does not go out for professional reason. The best is when you are in the front taking photos and the band actually poses for you from stage.

Bnad Management my BUTT..

I brought this up in another thread but it was overlooked...but the letter with my VIP tickets says this:

"Your collector's box, tour book, poster and laminate will be given to you after the show."

I know about the tour book, poster and laminate......but whats this about a collectors box?? :yarr:
