Thousands can't figure out just what they did, just what they, just what they did...

What else can you really expect when they have to see that many people.

that is why it is better to wait for them after or before shows. No factory type lines./ That is the norm for these things. Even with instores appearances of bands.

sounds like you all h ad fun.

You have to realize though is show got over at like 11pm, by the time we got to start the pictures it was like 11:30, and there was 50 of us id say, and each person took 2-3 minutes for pictures, greets, autographs so thats like 1-2 hours worth of time for them.

And so you get your picture taken with the whole band as well? And then you can go online later to get it?

If two people were going together, can both be in the same picture?

A friend and I did this and we were lucky in that nobody told us to move from the front of the venue and we did get to meet them briefly on their way out. You do have a point, but like Codes said, after the meet and greet with everyone else, you can't blame them for just wanting to get going..

That is true but if it was so bad they would not of had the meet and greet to begin with. You figure they did 50 or so per show..

If I never met the band before and got this I be happy.. WHO knows if you would get that opportunity again..

I just know people who do these things and it is pretty much the same. Someone will take the photos( usually a manager or assistant to band). You get a quick hello, etc and that is it. There is more people to get through..

That's a good point and that's also why the VIP is great if you can afford the ticket because it does guarantee the ability to meet the band. Ideally, you're right, there isn't a meet and greet and people wait to chat. But there's no guarantee, obviously, that it's going to happen and who is to say that it won't be just as rushed?

Honestly, if I had met the band or not last night, I still would have left the venue absolutely overjoyed. Everything about the Clumsy set was a throwback. From the original arrangements to the backdrop to the sunglasses. It just felt right again. I actually cannot thank the band enough for doing this.. For me, it was like this closing of a chapter, in a sense. :)

It was amazing, Matt... I've been meaning to ask you, where were you in relation to the stage?

Yeah I was to the right of center, by the exit doors. Surrounded by guys who hadn't showered in a week. LOL. :(

But yeah I totally agree about the atmosphere of the Clumsy performance. They really did go all out to make it an awesome show. I really felt like I was in 1997 for a little bit there!

You also get a professional photo remember, not just a sharty camera like say the one I had lol, So my question is was TW the guy taking the photo? lol common TW who the fuck are you haha.

And yes it did feel like 1997 eh? I was blown away by the show and the dedication they put into the sets. I have seen them like 10 times since the late 90's and this one fealt the most personal imo

Are you guys STILL trying to figure out who Trustworthy is? lol
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Do any of you guys (who went to Halifax) remember during the opening of Innocent? Was it just me or was Steve in the wrong key and it took him a few attempts to get in the right key? I remember seeing Raine leaning on the microphone shaking his head lol

At 1:56 on the audio clip I uploaded of Let You Down, Steve also goes out of key for a few seconds... poor guy, so much chords to learn in so little time... he mustve been so nervous. But other than those minor key issues Steve was AMAZING for the Clumsy songs.
