You have to win these tickets - I have to start listening to that radio station!

Also, it's only open to residents of Alberta :( . I wrote-in to ask if the contest was open to everyone and here's the response that I received from the radio station:

Hi Jamie

Contest is open to those in Alberta only - 18 years of age or older

Ugh. I made the mistake of reading the venue they're playing.

They're playing at Wild Bill's Saloon....which is very small. Lando and I saw The Weakerthans and Constantines there earlier this year, and it was a super duper venue.

Too bad it's only for Albertans. I actually would have made the drive, especially because of the freeness of it all. And it's Banff. And Banff is beautiful.

Pooey.

I would have made the drive! My sister is there and I want her to win tickets and take me! I am guessing they are giving 2 away at a time and wouldn't object if the guest was not from Alberta - it sounds like it would be a great show - wonder who the second band will be?

Banff is a beautiful place. If I liked OLP, I'd totally be all over this.
