August 20th- Cleveland, OH- House of Blues

Postby MindsOnLoan » 7/1/2009, 12:14 pm

OLP.cc is reporting a rumor that OLP will be playing at Cleveland's House of Blues on August 20th. If that's the case, I'm definitely trying to make it.

First OLP show. WOO!

EDIT- The show is now confirmed, and tickets will be going for anywhere from $22.50 to $35.00

I think I might just do this one. I love HOB venues.

These kind of shows still have full sets, not shortened ones, right?

Alright, cool. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a short one like the Rivoli or CHUM shows.

Any show OLP headline are full sets as Matt said. The only thing that is a shortened set is festival shows. I do not know how long OLP have been playing. Last headline shows I went to were between 1-1/2 to 2 hours long. Longest show was Montreal-Club Soda Dec 2000. They played 23 songs and 2-1/2 hours. SOmething like 7 encores that night. What was amazing about that show is that a few of the guys were sick.. You would of never known it though..

Holy crap I checked out the setlist from that Club Soda show...un-freaking-believable. 7 encore songs!

Practically the entire Spiritual Machines album! We're lucky to get In Repair these days.

That's incredible.

I definitely have a feeling it will sell out. From what I can tell, OLP has a pretty decent following in Ohio, more-so towards the north.

I am going to this show. It should be fun. This will be my 3rd time seeing them in Cleveland. I have other reasons. I am hoping the SPRINGSTEEN Exhibit is still Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame..

My first OLP show too. I'm pretty stoked right about now. Three more days!

With Mafia being soundchecked yesterday, I'll probably go insane if they play it at the Cleveland show.
