Just found out now, that there is a discounted pre-sale for this show. Saves $5 off the ticket price, but I guess every bit helps when you add in the TM fees...

The presale is on till 10 PM PST TONIGHT, and the password is VMCVIP.

Just spent about $170CDN on 2 tix for one day....UGH! I wish it were for a proper OLP headlining show, but I'll take what I can get!

Let the countdown begin!!!!!! :D

$170 for two tickets. Is that right?

How much is one day? Then again the All Points West Festival out here( July 31-Aug 2) is $85 a day Vs something like $250 for the whole three days..

Shows have gotten so expensive the last year. I just find that weird since people can't afford much now a days.. There are however a few bands keeping tickets low so fans can go. I still can't believe the Green Day tickets were only $49.00..Since I pre-ordered them through their fan club I got a break on service charges. Only paid $3.00 more..

Brief Show Review and Setlist

Postby MattCTUSA » 7/28/2009, 9:21 am

Fiannly have some time to post this. My Day in Vancouver was pretty awesome. Getting to see the guys perform acoustically in a small room for CFOX was very cool. They played 4 acoustic songs, including The End... It was nice to be able to briefly chat with the guys about the new CD and how proud of it they truly are. Raine commented on how they were playing their 7th show in 7 days, and unfortunately, his voice was pretty strained during their hour long set later that night. But, being the ultimate professional that he is, he fought through it and they still rocked. It started to thunderstorm during OLP's set and the downpour of rain got those of us in the crowd pretty wet. They even cancelled the Roots' performance because the lightning got so bad. The new songs were amazing live, especially Monkey Brains for me.

Here is what they played, the order might be a little off:
Monkey Brains - was the opener
Superman's Dead
Innocent
Clumsy
Angels Losing Sleep
Paper Moon
Somewhere Out There
Denied
All You Did
Naveed
Starseed

Raine did mention that they are putting together a Fall/Winter Canadian tour with hopes of doing 25 shows across Canada.

Sounds like you had fun Matt..
They have been doing alot of shows in a small amount of time. Nothing they have not done before. I think it is the distance they are traveling though. One day out East, Next out West.. It must be very taxing on them. Esp Raine since he is the singer..
