My photomigraphs of olpness

Postby Johnny » 5/3/2006, 4:09 pm

I lost my concert photographing viginity last night. :)

Sadly, most of the photos are of Raine and Manwhore Mazur. I was unsure on what settings to use on my camara. :( I got no individual photos of Duncan and Joel, but I got them both in one or two of the photos. And there are none of Jero.

I saw Raine's red shirt and thought, "Hey, we wore that yesterday!" I forgot you lived in Edmonton!

Picture 9 looks good...so does picture 10. My stupid camera batteries were dying so I was only able to take a few pictures but I'll try to get them up soon..some turned out alright.

ha, I was standing right in front of the boring security guy with the mustache. I'm actually pretty sure that Chandler got my hand in one of the pics.

I really wish I had a recorder to get that concert. They didn't have metal detectors and they didn't even search me even though I had a big baggy jacket and everything.

They didn't search me nor my mates either. Thankfully, I was in front of a pair of cool guards. Both were clearly having a good time! One was even rocking out to the music, but only just. He had to work after all. :)

Sweet pics, Johnny!

Personally, I definitely "dug" pic one.....kinda blurry, but in a cool way though. Accented the picture, I think.

I was sitting at Row 6 right by the centre aisle. I nearly got the first drumstick Jeremy threw but this girl I recognized from my highschool got it instead. :( Also, there were these really annoying guys who wouldn't stop cheering for the Oilers right behind us.

The security people at the entrances were pretty bad...they didn't check anything and just let us pass.

Illusion, when do they ever have metal detectors? I don't think I've come across one before when going to a concert. :freak:

They had metal detectors a couple of weeks ago at the Buffalo show

Okay, here are my pics. Please excuse me for the crappy quality. The flash for my camera was not cooperating that night. :( I was only able to take pictures of Raine and Duncan..(a very tiny shot of Jeremy is in one of the pictures with Raine, though)..I tried taking pictures of Jeremy & Steve but everytime I did, my camera screwed up or someone got in the way.

This is my favourite shot (BTW, can you spot Jeremy?) :P

My attempt to get a shot of Raine with the crowd. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. :( He's the red blob near the bottom right in the middle.

Yours are awesome Johnny.

I'm going to have a LOT of pics for people... Two camera phones, Laurel has a bunch and I know other people at the show who took some.

Helpful tip: Don't use your camera's flash at concerts. Cool pics though. I agree with Lando, the grainy look is unique. :duncan:
