London - May 7/06

Thousands can't figure out just what they did, just what they, just what they did...

There's a Lindsay city?!?! Way cool.

We still need restaurant suggestions for London. Anybody have a favorite place?

I've asked my sister to give me some good recommendations. But once I check in to the hotel I'm not driving anywhere so it has to be on in the same area as JLC and the hotel.

I'm wondering what time we can meet up. We don't even know yet what time you have to be at soundcheck, right?

Hi Kathy,

Big shock--no, I have no clue about soundcheck. I've e-mailed Ultra Star twice and I'm calling them tomorrow. I'll let you know what I find out about soundcheck and more importantly when the hell our damn tickets are coming in the mail.

Lindsay :uh:

P.S. Thank you for asking your sis for restaurant suggestions. I'm with you on walking everywhere.

The timing for the soundcheck for Thursday's Vancouver show was only confirmed this morning. It sounds like things aren't being organised very well at all.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Oops, Kathy, I meant that I e-mailed eTix twice. I just re-read my post. I went on their website this morning and filled out the "support form" too. You can go there at:

http://www.etix.com/ticket/online/help2.jsp

I shot Stace an e-mail as well and if all else fails, then I'm going to try Ultra Star, but I have a feeling they will be the least helpful.

this is a duplicate to message I posted on .net...

London Plans:

We'll have dinner and drinks at the Elephant & Castle pub which is located inside the Galleria Mall. The Galleria is halfway between the concert venue and the hotels (Delta and Comfort Inn).

355 Wellington St. Galleria Mall
(519) 434-4554

Time to meet: 4:30, or whenever you can get there. Doors open at 6, show is at 7. The pub is a short walk from the venue and from the hotels (from what I've heard) that people are staying at.

This is a map of all the different points of interest:

Questions/concerns?

4 days from right now OLP will be onstage in London :D

LOL! Christine you are hilarious!!!

We were drinking champagne and wine (courtesy of Christine) while sitting on the hotel mini putt green at 1am, I just recently got back to my room.

We had a dinner for 20 at the pub before the show. I met lots of amazing people, including Lindsay, Christine, Rich and Shelley, Miro and Kruno, etc! R&S and Miro and Kruno got on stage, and we were in the front row so we were screaming and dancing back and forth with them, taking pictures of each other, etc. I got a drumstick from Jer from Pedestrian's set. I got picks from Joel. I got a setlist. And this was one of the best OLP shows I've seen! :D :drool:

More pics tomorrow, but for now....

We got it recorded on our camera... obviously not the best quality but it's better than I expected. I'm uploading it now and will post soon.

okay, wtf is going on! My sig pic was shrunk down to a tiny version in photobucket but it's showing huge when I view it here on the CM. Same happened with my pics that I posted last night - when I scroll on this page the pics are twice the size as my photobucket pics..

Can someone tell me if my sig is showing up huge... I'm trying to figure out if it's my photo, my photobucket, my browser, etc. I'll pull down the sig if it's monstrous until I have time to figure out what's wrong.

Okay here's the link to our Hope video from last night. The lighting is bad at the start because the spotlight is shining right at the camera, but it gets bettter.

Enjoy :D
