Thousands can't figure out just what they did, just what they, just what they did...

I do! Weak in the ways of the aftershow, am I.

My friend and I were late arriving to the venue. I had to stay at work until after the newscasts were over and do some promos and such so instead of leaving at 6:30 we didn't get out of Erie until almost 7. We found the Student Center but couldnt find a place to park. We went past the center, past a tour bus, and found a set of 5 parking meters that looked really inviting and quite open. Looks good to me!

We assumed it was OLP's bus and after the show thought we'd stalk...er, hang around to say hello. The show ended around 11. 11:30 rolled around and it was kinda cold out so we sat in the car. I reasoned that maybe it's not a good idea to sit in a dark car and when the band comes out to spring from the car like ninja assassins. Might look bad. So we got back out and froze our buns off til midnite. We could see the driver warming up the bus and figured it was only a matter of time until they came out...plus we're stubborn guys with HUGE egos who don't want to look like fools standing in the cold for an hour only to leave and miss the band.

A few minutes later another tour bus blows by us and we think nothing of it. Maybe our brains froze? 12:20 rolls around and a bunch of trucks pull around. Slowly it dawns on us it's the tear down crew and more than likely THEIR bus...and the bus that passed us by already for probably the bands bus. Please forgive us, we're not the brightest guys in the world.

Is there a CM handbook that teaches stealth, timing, and agility? I'd buy one!

 Aww. That's strange that the tear down crew would have a bus, though. :freak:

Did either bus have a trailer? Both? Cos OLP's bus has a trailer.

Yeah, normally there's just one bus for all OLP and their crew. Normally the support band will have a bus too if they're doing a few shows, but that's not the case with OLP at the moment is it?
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Both buses had a lil white trailer on them. I found it weird that there would be two buses. The opening act was Theory of a Deadman...possibly it was their bus, but why would it still be there 3 hours after their set?

Ahh yes, Theory of a Deadman would definitely have a bus as well. How'd you decide that the other one that drove by was OLP's? You may have very well been waiting by the correct bus, after all!

I think I've made it quite clear that I don't subscribe to any type of logic whatsoever. It very well could have been their bus, but we reasoned that they probably wouldn't stick around that long after the show. Why did we think that? I don't know.

It seemed a lot more rational when we were freezing our butts off.

 Yes, I've been there. When you're freezing, you certainly think CRAAAAAAAZY things.

If the bus was black and grey, it was most likely theirs.
