which course?

The Art Of Listening - "An introduction to the major forms and styles in Western music from the baroque to the present, with emphasis on guided listening in the classroom. The ability to read music is not a prerequisite. "

Modern African Histroy - "While covering the general political history of Africa in the twenthieth century, this course also explores such themes as health and disease, gender, and urbanization."

The art of listening..... Isn't this a kindergarten prequisite?

Modern African History sounds fairly interesting, but probably the kind of course with alot of memorization and such.

I'd go with listening, but I'm fairly lazy.

lol wow, no votes for MAH. i guess that response makes sense on a music based board.

grr.. idk the art of listening definitely looks easier but i have a stron interest in african culture and issues in modern africa, but i'm sure that class would be a ton of work. agghhhh *pulls hair out*

If you have a really harsh semester, go with Art of listening. If it's pretty slack and you think you can afford the time, go with African History. It sounds way more interesting.

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.
