Final Fantsay VII

Post by Johnny »

Has anyone completed this sweet game? By complete, I mean, has anyone completed all the the sidequests, gotten every Materia, detroyed Weapon, etc.

I started a game today and I am going to get everything :)

Hmm...my boyfriend loves this game with a passion, I should ask him if he's ever gotten all the way thru. I think he has...but meh, I dunno.

I've only just beaten the final boss(es) without cheating. But I did get a Golden Chocobo by breeding them. It's impossible to lose a race when using a golden chocobo.

I should fire up the old PS1 and try to beat the weapons.

By the way KotR is a kickass summon.

Actually BEATING Final Fantasy games is freakin' simple. They didn't make these games difficult to beat, what they did make difficult is completing everything like Jon said. Doing ALL the sidequests, finding all the secrets etc...

Now that's a pain in the ARSES. (I have more than one)

I disagree mr. Wolfwood, you do not have the right to take another living creature's life. It's not your decision to make!!

FF7 is being made into a movie! ITs like "Spirits within" animation type and the only confirmed characters and Cloud and Sephiroth.

first of all, i have beaten the final boss(es) those are some of the hardest bosses i ever had 2 fight with, sadly i used gameshark 4 the final bosses i know i know it was so sad and pathetic of me 2 do it but it was only 4 the boss i swear i wanted 2 see the ending credits it was just such a good game :crying: but anyway ya i did manage 2 beat weapon though after about 30 odd tries lol he was tough but it was all worth it, and might i add i beat him without getting all the special summons like bahamut zero and knights of the round and such cause i messed up and didn't wanna restart lol, and no i didn't manage 2 complete all the side quests either its like impossible 2 beat them all but that was the best ff game ever made, kingdom hearts did a great job of remakaking cloud though don't u think?? and everyone can get yuffie and vincent their easy, but anyway about this ff VII movie i need 2 know more about it on the double can some1 like pm me or just post all the facts like when its coming out and stuff cause i must know ff VII is my whole life...next 2 emily of course if she's reading this thread :D but as 4 FF VII

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Yeah, but i'm willing to give it a second chance.

As Far as I know, it takes place 2 years after FF7 the game and Cloud and Sephiroth are duking it out again.
There IS a preview its a few minutes long and mostly shows clips and stuff.
I have seen it on Tech Tv's show, "X Play" twice already. So if you have that channel watch X play and you might see it.
I don't know if it can be downloaded yet, try using Kazaa.

From techtv.com...

'Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children' (PS2)

Square Enix Vice President Shinjii Hashimoto calls this game "visual content" and speaks (rather cryptically) of Square Enix entering a "new world." It looks like a movie, it sounds like a movie, and it has the dramatic scenes and battles you'd expect from a movie. Just don't call it a movie, because Square Enix certainly doesn't. Whatever you call it, it's an hour of elaborate, stunningly rendered scenes starring the cast of "Final Fantasy VII." Details are sketchy, as Square Enix is unsure just how the new "visual content" will be packaged. Will it be a major motion picture, bonus content for some forthcoming console title, or some hot-stuff launch package for the PlayStation Portable? Your guess is as good as ours.

The "Advent Children" visual content manages to retain the original animated look of the characters, but with an all-new level of gorgeous rendering. You couldn't exactly call it "realistic" -- not with Cloud's huge-ass, almost comical sword. The term "convincing" would suffice. FFVII was the point in the series that stole so many of our hearts (and time, and wallets). Soon fans will see its world as it was meant to be seen.

Goddamn, if Barret, Tifa, and the gang show up, I hope they made them look good.

Man, Barret kicks some unique brand of ass.

Ahh, Cloud is one of the most memorable FF characters, who could forget his humongous sword and crazy-ass hair?
