 i get what you're saying. there's a lot of REALLY good stuff on that album though...it's kind of disguised popish happy music. i think damian is awesome and a REALLY good osngwriter, but as he says....the flaming lips will write a pop masterpiece...something that will be a huge hit, but then purposely stretch it out to 8 minutes to ensure no staion will EVER play it and they oculd do the same, but."we're shameless". that pretty much sums it up. there's a fire is an AMAZING osng. and i think you should download We Dug A Hole-->it didnt make it onto the album but it's a great song. and they are...indescribable live!!

I can't get into OK Go. They seriously need to cut back on the stuttering. They wrote some good stuff when I listened to it, but I couldn't get past the gimmick stuttering in each song. I wanted to rip my hair out when I played Madden 2003 because they always played Get Over It.

And the Flaming Lips are amazing. You'd be surprised how many people in college listen to them. I guess that goes hand in hand with the number of students at my school smoking down in their dorm rooms and eating granola. I should look into that.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
