Actually, I've been stalking him for quite some time, and yet the one thing I'm not sure about is whether he has a girlfriend... I know what time he goes to BED each night, for chrissakes, but apart from seeing him talking to girls (different ones each time) I have no idea.

Aerin, I am currently in a similar situation. However, the guy I like is going to Singapore next year on exchange. So even if I do hook up with him it can't really last for more than a few months before it goes into the long-distance relationship situation. I think I've decided to tell him anyway . . . . . that should prove interesting.

Okay, let me put it to you this way, without trying to sound too self-pitiful...

How would you guys feel if you found out that a rather physically unattractive girl had a crush on you? Would you be flattered? Annoyed? Please be honest.

unappealing? your not unappealing. and i was flattered when these two freshmen girls were like competeing with each other for me. even when i had a girlfriend. the thing is that you can't get all psyco about it. it got annoying when during halloween i got 35 candygrams...17 a piece from each chick and one from my chick. then one of them put my football number on their leg while in their cheerleading uniform, oh by the way my chick was a cheerleader too and seeing two chicks with my football number made me and my chick look really stupid.

develop a friendship first... ask him to go out for coffee or something, nothing big and if he does have a gf than you'll find out less suspiciously and less harmfully. If he doesn't have one well then you can progress the situation as you see fit based on his reactions
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
