In my case I'm getting ready for summer. Not ready for it yet.

It's funny cause everytime I talk to Canadians about winter I get this response. It feels as if you guys hate winter more than anything while I don't know why, I'd think you'd be into colder weather.

Silly me =P

lol megan is american. and winter in pretty much every part of canada is unpleasant in one way or another, but it comes without fail every year, so we might as well suck it up and get it over with.

Don't think you could ever be ready for winter - it just comes then you are scrambling to find the window scrapers and shovels. I don't mind winter - although I hate scraping and shoveling.

So far its been a really mild year - no snow and above normal temperatures so I will not complain!

There's no snow here, in Saskatchewan, and tomorrow is December 1. Odd.

Did you get snow today? We (Manitoba) are supposed to get a dumping tonight. It is odd isn't it? Maybe with some snow it'll feel a little more like Christmas to me - I'm having a hard time getting into the spirit.

It snowed pretty much all night yesterday in Ottawa. But, as always with the first snow, it didn't stay on the ground for very long.

Look out your window, woman!

We have an intense amount of snow now! Plus way more on the way overnight, apparently...

And thus, I remember why I hate Saskatchewan.

Bright Sunny day here in Minnesota, a little nippy, but does not seem like December.

Do you guys actually like the places you live? =P

I was watching a promotional video for the city of Regina on youtube yesterday and it said such beautiful things about the city. But the funny thing was that the first comment on that video to show up was by someone saying how much he hated growing up in Regina and how that video was false propaganda, lol. So apparently he wasn't as happy as all those peoples on the video.

Well if I keep on talking about Canada and what impressions I had about your country I'll probably sound just like another crazy latin american who is crazy about north america. Oh well... If only we had some snow HERE ;)

Well...Regina is...uh...yeah, it sucks.

We do have Wascana Park, which is beautiful...but there's not much else scenery wise. There's also not a whole heck of a lot to do around here.

Also, the city seems to HATE preserving heritage buildings, and the history of the city. Our downtown is horrid - there's no character to it whatsoever. The sad thing is, if you drive 45 minutes to the much smaller city of Moose Jaw, they have a gorgeously preserved downtown, and awesome shopping (lots of local independent shops and what not). A friend of mine from out of town is coming down to do some shopping in Regina...and I'm going to be taking her to Moose Jaw instead.

Overall...I'm very disenchanted with Regina. I love living in the prairies, but I know for sure that I will not be staying here for the rest of my life.

Oh, and I will so give you my snow. We're covered in it right now. And it has also magically gone from plus 2 to minus 20. Woo Saskatchewan!

By the way - any chance you could post a link to that youtube video you watched? I'm interested to see what they're trying to say about the city now...

Wow! -20 all of a sudden?! Creepy.
Well, I know how snow can be annoying for a long period of time. I just wish we had all four seasons in Rio de Janeiro. It's hot all year long... well, during winter we can get around 15ºC, but that's about it.

Funny thing about Regina. I actually though you pronounced it Re-geena. Not like Vagina. People must make fun about the city's name. And here's the video I mentioned. Have fun. LOL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VTdvubRIWU

And I was kinda shocked when I first walked around Toronto. Don't get me wrong, I know it's Canada's largest cities in many ways, but I found it quite small! Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are huge, and since I grew up in such big cities I ended up finding Toronto quite small considering it's Canada's biggest metropolis. =P Well, that's my point of view anyway.
