I think the most Canadian thing about Canadians is we have no idea who John A. Macdonald was or what he ever did.

I think I will find out when I meet the Canadian Studies students in Havana. I expect they will have better answers on the meaning of being Canadian than I do.

yeah.. theres a statue of sir. john a. in kingston :nod: which was the capital at the time :nod:

hes also wearing an onion around his waist and had to walk 15 miles barefoot in the snow uphill...

he is not wearing an onion!! I think i have a pic somewhere in my files of said statue. Yes he is burried about 5 km from where i am sitting and the road named after him is but a stones throw from where i sit.

i see no onion

i remember that statue i think.. isnt that in the park near the lake and umm.. i wanna say kingston general?
i vaguely remember a park just off of queen's campus

yep that would be called city park. ahah the court house is at the top earl hall on one side the houses on the lake on the end. sometime they play cricket there.

ever since people talked about poutine i cant stop thinking about it.

we make the most of what we get...here is a good example of the lengths we go to to amuse ourselves with all this snow.

this is just outside of Ottawa

oh and i do remember that park then.. isnt that near bio-sci as well?
my memory of queens campus/kingston is sketchy some what.. i just have random images in my head haha

although. i do remember the JDUC quite well :nod:
and writing exams in the rink... but i forget the name of it :|
