Also, go Pirates and Marlins.

Oh, and the Royals have a sweet team with Ryan Shealy, Mark Teahen, Alex Gordon and Zack Greinke all about to become household names.

Gordon could/will be this year's David Wright of '05, and Greinke might possibly be getting votes for the Cy with his absured strikeout to walk ratio. They would be in the race all year in the AL West, NL Central or NL West.

And next year will be a madhouse in the AL Central if the Twins don't run away with it (Santana, Bonser, Garza, Liriano might be the best rotation anywhere in years if Liriano can bounce back quickly).

And here's hoping the Jays and their unreal team on base percentage can get enough pitching to compete with NY/Boston.

More Predictions:

MVPs: Alex Rodriguez and Miguel Cabrera

CY Young Winners: Matsuzaka (only because Boston gets in the playoffs and the twins don't; Johan will once again be the best pitcher in baseball) and Jake Peavy

Comeback: Gary Sheffield and Oliver Perez

AL ROY: Daisuke Matsuzaka (with Alex Gordon being the best rookie position player and huge props to Matt Garza but i don't think he's eligable)

NL ROY: i'll go with Homer Bailey if the Reds give him the call soon enough. If not, Troy Tulowitzki in a toss-up of awesome talent.
