I think teeth are annoying even though mine are pretty cool. I've never needed braces, my bro did though, ha ha!

I've had tons of cavities but I've been taking better care of my teeth now (brushing, flossing, and listerine'n).

I have one more cavity to get fixed in a few weeks and then after that, my dentist says I should get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled out even though they are fully grown and they don't hurt.

What stinks the most now is that I have 2 more teeth growing in on the right side (top & bottom) behind my wisdom teeth. So, I'll have 30 teeth soon! I'll probably have to get those pulled too if my wisdom teeth need to be.

She comes along
She gets inside
She makes you better than
anything you've tried

It's in her kiss
the blackest see
And it runs deeper than you
dare to dream it could be

With teeth
With teeth
With teeth
With teeth

Wave goodbye
To what you were
The rules have changed
the lines begin to blur

She makes you so hard
It comes on strong
You finally found
the place where you belong

With teeth
With teeth
With teeth
With teeth

I cannot go through this again

With teeth
With teeth
With teeth
With teeth

She will not let you go
Keeps on and on
She will not let you go
Keeps on and on
This time I'm not coming back
She will not let you go
This time I'm not coming back
She will not let you go

She is the greatest lie of all.

I had braces for about a year when I was like twelve years old. Now I have permanent retainers in the top and bottom that are there forever! And I only ever had one cavity and it made my mom realllllly mad cause she's a dental hygienist and her kids are not supposed to have cavities, but it wasn't really my fault because I have really deep grooves in my molars (it's genetic) and one of the sealants she had put on fell off and I got cavity-ified. But the filling is white so you can't tell!

My teeth were super crooked until I finally got braces in grade 8. I wore braces for 2 years and loved them. People think I'm weird because I loved my braces. I think they're adorable though. People look so cute with braces.

My teeth are super straight now. I have a permanent retainer on my bottom teeth which I'm allowed to have removed now I just haven't bothered and won't until it actually falls off. It came loose once in college because I bit into a really hard chocolate easter bunny but my orthodontist wouldn't take it off until I was done school .. just in case .. he thought I might grind my teeth in my sleep out of stress but I don't. If I did that would have made my teeth shift and we didn't want that so it stayed.

I know someone who does grind their teeth at night though. ( )

I've had cavities and I've had a couple of teeth pulled. I had 2 teeth pulled from the top to make room for my top 2 wisdom teeth to come in. My bottom wisdom teeth were removed when I was in highschool. It was the first time I had ever been put under and my mom was scared and they hated me because I kept playing with the thing on my finger they were using to monitor me so they kept running in my room thinking I was dying but I wasn't so they'd yell at me.

I'm terrified of the dentist and it makes him sad. I always get scheduled for two cleanings .. they only do half of my teeth in one sitting and then the other half in another sitting because I'm just that terrified and I tense up and cry and my dentist thinks it's his fault so he gives me purple toothbrushes. He also told me tongue rings DO NOT fuck up your teeth and for that he is my hero because I was able to rub it in my mom's face that my tongue ring has NOT ruined my teeth.

I'm supposed to go back to have a cavity filled but I quit my old job and lost all my benefits so I can't afford it now and refuse to go back.

That's my story.

I had eight extra adult teeth in my head. So when I was 8 (what a coincidence!), I had them all pulled out. Two molars on each side, top and bottom. I could put a baton in my bouth and bite down and it went straight through for a couple of years. I only had four molars altogether  So then I got nifty braces in 5th grade and got them off halfway through 7th. Everyone thought I had naturally straight teeth! I had an underbite...still do actually...and had to go to a speech therapist to change the way I swallow. I'm lazy though and only changed it enough so that I had a slight overbite. Then I had my wisdom teeth pulled when I was a junior. And voila!

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire

(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I also have a permenant retainer on the bottom and a removable one on top that I never wear. One tooth is moved a little and it pisses my mom off, but I don't care. I say it's character ;) I've had two little cavities because after I turned 18 insurance wouldn't cover sealance.

Joey, I thought ya'll had free insurance...?

We have free health insurance but it doesn't cover dental beyond like cleanings (and even then I don't even know if it covers that). Most of the time dental is covered by the parents' company as part of their benefits.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I still have 2 baby teeth. And they're not doing too bad considering they should have fallen out about 20 years ago!

For some reason I'm missing 2 of my teeth at the top - the ones next to my front teeth. I think Cass stole them :GASP:. My brother was missing one so they pulled it out and made him a false one, but I get to keep mine until they fall out and then pay lots of money to get 2 false ones made.

I had braces from when I was 16 to when I was 19. Because of the missing teeth, on each side one of my grown up teeth got stuck between two baby teeth and didn't push through. Like this:
^
V <----- grown up tooth
^^
VV <----- baby teeth

So I had to have an operation where they cut a bit of my gum away on each side to expose the grown up tooth. Then while my braces were busy moving my teeth around to make room for it they also pulled it down into place behind the baby teeth. Then I got one baby teeth on each side pulled out and the grown up teeth were pushed forwards into place.

After that the orthodontist wanted me to have my wisdom teeth taken out, but I went to the hospital and the consultant said having your wisdom teeth taken out was kind of over-rated and it was up to me what I did. So I went on the waiting list for a while and then wimped out and decided I'd have them taken out when they started to come through - which there's a good chance they never will (none of my mum's ever did).

I've had various cavities and fillings, but not too many. I think i'll have more next time I go though cos the radiation damaged my salivary glands made mouth all dry for a while which is bad :(
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Oh man... you are lucky. I hate having dental stuff in my mouth and all the cleaning and polishing and suctioning makes me really panicky an uncomfortable and I hate the taste and want to spit everything out really badly, but I do my best and squeeze my eyes shut and squirm as little as possible.

The problem is, however, that my tooth-cleaning gets done by my mother, and lord almighty she has zero patience for me and none of the hesitation that a stranger would have in yelling at me to quit whining and suck it up and stop closing my mouth and complaining about it. It's hell... no matter how much I try she gets super frustrated and bitchy with me
