Another first president poll

yup, ok class Sam Houston was indeed the first president of the Republic of Texas. Stephen F. Austin got the land from mexico though it was still a mexican territory.
Josh and the other two who got it right, you get A+'s and golden wang stickers on your answers. the rest of you, i want a 5 page report on Sam Houston in MLA format by Thursday at 4 o'clock. It's gotto be in my PM box by 4 on thursday or you all fail and you'll have to put up a barbed wire fence at your houses. i don;t care what you neighborhood council says.
