Also, you guys are making him sound much more innocent than he really is. There was a lot of politics behind the scenes on his end. He wasn't suggesting anything, he wasn't asking people what they thought about the stolen stamps, he mentioned me by name and told a couple of people that he thinks it might be me. You're right, he cna't fire me because of mere assumption, that's why he's trying to force me to quit. I really don't need his reference, I can easily get a much better one from someone else at the store. Besides, if he thinks I stole the stamps, I highly doubt I'm going to get a gold star on my resume because of a reference given to me by him. I cannot respect someone who jumps to conclusions that quickly without clearly assessing the situation.
